Mountain View has many attractions. Check the

for details on our festivals which include the Folk Festival,
Beanfest and the Bluegrass Festival. For the outdoor lovers we have
hunting, horseback & mountain bike trails and a shooting range in
the vast amount of
Arkansas National Forest located here in Stone County.
Blanchard Springs Caverns offers tours of the caves plus
camping, fishing and hiking trails. The
Ozark Folk Center State
Park offers classes in crafts of all types, Folk Music Shows,
dancing, restaurant and lodging. The White River and the many
crystal clear streams offer excellent fishing or just floating to
admire the Ozarks natural beauty. The Buffalo River, Greers Ferry
Lake and Norfork Lake are just a stones throw from Mountain View.
Shop in the many antique and gifts shops encircling the Square and
scattered throughout Stone County. We have available numerous RV
Parks, Bed and Breakfasts, hotels and motels. Details can be found
on the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce website. The Stone County
Medical Center, family physicians, specialists, dentist are all here
along with ambulance, AirEvac and Fire Departments to handle the
emergencies in our lives.
